Ethanol
Australian ethanol expansion will resurrect Australia’s sugar industry, reduce fuel costs, provide clean renewable fuel, reduce CO2 emissions, clean our air which will save lives, increase fuel self sufficiency, reduce dependence on foreign oil supplies, create jobs and provide fibrous waste for increased beef production.
Ethanol expansion was the focus of Bob’s only ever trip overseas. In Minnesota USA, ethanol cost 84c per litre ($AUD), and in San Paulo Brazil (See photo), ethanol cost 74c per litre ($AUD).
AusParty's Roadmap for the Future includes maintaining the government’s support for Australia’s domestic ethanol industry and mandating the use of ethanol (as was successfully done in Brazil).
