Live cattle exports - Notice of motion

Australian Party leader Bob Katter has today tabled a notice of motion in the House of Representatives in relation to live cattle exports to Indonesia.
The motion calls for a full inquiry into the suspension including investigating the role played by bodies such as the MLA and how effectively they are using the $5 per ox they receive from Australian producers.
The motion, seconded by Federal Member for Denison Andrew Wilkie, also calls for an upgrade of Indonesian abattoirs to including provision of equipment and training to ensure these abattoirs meet humane standards currently met in Australia.
