Please find below a series of comments from Mr Katter regarding National Disability Insurance Scheme
“My Party’s position is that we do need to look after people less fortunate than ourselves.
“We have a strong philosophical belief that the culture of this nation is Christian culture and we have a responsibility to look after our fellow man – to help those less fortunate then ourselves.
“Yes it will cost the people a little bit of money, but there is a colossal burden on those that look after people with serious disabilities and I think if we can lessen the burden on those people even just a little bit, than that is the important thing to do.
“Unfortunately this loans itself to a bit of manipulation and of course the nature of this requires a fairly tight regime.”
