Member of Parliament for Mount Isa
Born and bred in North Queensland, Rob worked in the mining industry and as a property valuer before standing for council in 2008.
Member of Parliament for Dalrymple
Shane is a hardworking Member of Parliament who has been elected to the Queensland Parliament three times since first winning the support of his community in 2004.
As Member for Dalrymple, Shane is responsible for one of Queensland’s largest electorates, representing communities which extend from Atherton in the north, through Charters Towers and south to Moranbah.
Candidate for Callide
The Katter’s Australian Party (KAP) have announced they will be contesting the seat of Callide at the upcoming state election with local family man and respected Councillor Robbie Radel, flying the KAP flag.
As an elected representative of 2016 North Burnett Regional Council, Mr Radel is enthusiastic to expand his representation portfolio.
Born in Biggenden and raised at Coalstoun Lakes, Robbie completed his education at Biggenden before following his dream to own and operate his own dairy farm.
“Living and working in Biggenden region my entire life and being a local councillor with a hands-on approach, has equipped me with the knowledge of local issues concerning the community and wider region," he said.
Mr Radel said teaming up with KAP was a no-brainer, considering the issues with the current two-party system.
“There is disappointment with the major parties, and as a member of the KAP, I feel I will be able to achieve a lot more in representing the region,” Mr Radel said.
